chill little introduction to the OST, showcasing a lighter vibe that's a smidge underrepresented in this mix

the soft piano that's a throughline here is *so* gorgeous. a great example the sweet and mellow nostalgia that serves as the core of this show.

i LOVE how this soundtrack makes the little moments seem as big as they feel for the people experiencing them. you should not be able to squeeze emotions out of me by the end of episode one, and yet this song did it.

taking a little break for a mix of that lighter vibe and the mellow nostalgia. also the little music box/marimba/whatever sample is super pretty.

kept the more intense bangers to a minimum for this mix but this bad boy still found its way in. still, like, chill, obviously, but come on. it's a banger

motif!! there are a bunch in the broader soundtrack, but this one that you also hear in foggy road is the most important in my eyes, so i just *had* to demonstrate it in the mix
